The New Year and Intention Setting

While everyone is setting goals and intention, I want to remind you, to move at your own pace.


I hear from so many of you, that you feel like your healing is moving so slowly.  This is your reminder that healing looks and feels different for everyone. we are not only healing the body, but we are also on a journey to healing our souls. our bodies didn’t get here overnight, and some of us are carrying years of emotional baggage that are body is holding onto. So, it's going to take time, and thats OK. 



Every day is a new day.

You DON'T need to make a HUGE change - Start by focusing on making small changes. 


Remember, striving just to be 1% better each day, will add up more than taking no action at all.  


1% looks like: 

  • drinking water instead of soda

  • practicing good sleep hygiene (lowering lights at sunset, using eye mask, ear plugs, choosing calming shows/music)

  • being more aware of food choices

  • switching a cooking product (canola oil to olive oil)

  • taking a shower/bath with low lights/candle and soft music 

  • buying higher quality meats this grocery trip 

  • stretching for 5 minutes

  • dancing to your favorite song fHaor 5 minutes 

  • signing up for therapy

  • following up with a doctors appointment 

  • meditation / praying for 1 minute 

  • catching a negative thought, and recognizing the thought pattern 



And for my spiritual friends:

Everything is in divine timing. Sometimes we don’t understand the why or how, but there is always a lesson to be learned. 

Take the time to sit with the divine, and continue to ask and open to receive the message. 



Now is the time to create change in your life, big and small.
